With the UN grabbing so much attention this week, let's not forget the czars. Here's what just a few are up to lately:
Arun Majumdar, Green Czar. The newest czar, Arun is the new "Green Czar", this appears to be a separate Green energy/green science position, not a replacement for deposed "Green Jobs Czar" Van Jones, and apparent redundancy with Energy Czar Carol Browner (who herself is redundant to EPA chief and other cabinet positons) as well as redundant with Science Czar John Holdren. (See also, Czar Wars, Episode I, Scene 17: Van walks the plank of U.S.S. Czar).
Carol Browner, Energy/Climate Czar. The Al Gore disciple and head of the EPA under Clinton is busy as discussed in this opinion piece...
Mark Lloyd, Diversity Czar. Mark's speeches over the past two years are catching some well-deserved flack including pro-Chavez comments as reported by the Washington Times.
Cass Sunstein, Regulatory Czar. Cass has been getting quite a bit of publicity and exposure. Here's an article from Family Security Matters.
John Holdren, Science Czar. Excerpt from article linked below: Holdren, director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP), co-authored the books "Human Ecology: Problems and Solutions" (1973) and "Ecoscience" (1977) with Paul R. Ehrlich and Anne H. Ehrlich, renowned population control advocates.
In the former, published by W.H. Freeman Company, Holdren and his coauthors said a born baby might "ultimately develop into a human being."
In Chapter 8 of the book, called "Population Limitation," the three argued for legalized abortion as a means of keeping the global population in check. In that context, they wrote: "The fetus, given the opportunity to develop properly before birth, and given the essential early socializing experiences and sufficient nourishing food during the crucial early years after birth, will ultimately develop into a human being."

Kenneth Feinberg, Pay Czar. Excerpt from article linked below: New York, Fri Sept 18:
Feinberg said he would release the salary information on the top 25 employees at Citigroup Inc (
C..N), Bank of America Corp (
BAC.N), AIG (
AIG.N), General Motors [GM.UL], GMAC, Chrysler and Chrysler Financial, Seiberg wrote.
The pay czar said he would release the pay system for employees 26 though 100 by year-end, according to the analyst.
Feinberg was appointed in June and given broad authority to decide pay packages for the most highly compensated employees at firms that received extraordinary government bailouts.
SEIU, the Emperor's preferred storm troopers, have some very negative exposure that isn't getting MSM visibility, can be found only on the online version of the Sacremento newspaper, apparently not newsworthy enough for print or any national coverage.
MSM credit-where-credit is due department. ABC has some web coverage of an inappropriate, perhaps unethical, on the brink of violating the Hatch Act by the now-reassigned communications director of the NEA (National Endowment for the Arts, not to be confused with the National Education Association teacher's union NEA). The conference call became a political activist rally calling on artists to create Obama-agenda propaganda art. Hopefully it will cease and desist from becoming the National Endowment for Obama's Agenda.
