News: Convenient study, Safe Schools Czar, Chicago healthcare, New Czar

Conveniently, the UNEP released a new more alarming, more warm-mongering, more we-must-act-now sense of urgency "scientific study" with all the "But wait, there's more" infommercial-quality salesmanship, during last's weeks U.N.-sponsored Climate Week, making their scientific credibility even more laughable, clearly politically-motivated and unmistakably biased.
Al Gore said the Arctic’s ice-free summer would happen by 2050 in his worst-case scenario– now the scientists have moved up the date to 2030 under a best-case scenario.

Amazing how quickly climate change is advancing, why it was less than three years ago that the IPCC, UN, Stern Review 2006 claimed "Seven of ten disasters are now climate-related."
and

Then, low and behold, within two years, December of 2008, the incidence had increased to the now omnipresent claim of "Nine out of 10 disasters recorded are climate-related, while the number of disasters has doubled to more than 400 annually over the past two decades."
and everywhere else, search for "out of 10 disasters" on google or yahoo.

Episode I, Scene 16: Czars Reform The USSA by Lee Greenpeace

Ever been at Fourth of July parade, fireworks or any other patriotic event of the sort and feel sorry for a friend or relative squirming uncomfortably at "that red-state-redneck" anthem by Lee Greenwood?  Don't you think their point of view deserves equal time, a Fairness Doctrine in song if you will?  Wait no longer, the Czar Wars has composed the alternate version here, that has removed all grammatical errors (no "'Cause" or "Ain't" remains) as well as all that unsavory faith-based American exceptionalism sentiment.  Enjoy...

Czars Reform The USSA
by Lee Greenpeace

If tomorrow all the things were redistributed,
I had worked for all my life.
And I had to start again,
with just my children and my domestic partner.
I would thank my red stars,
to be living here today.
Because the flag still stands for guilt and shame,
and they can not take that away.

And I am ashamed to be an American,
Because on the left that's what's P.C..
And I'll express regrets and apologize,
to every foreign national that I see.
And I gladly stand up,
next to you and deplore her still today.
Because there is no doubt, Jeremiah's (W)right,
Czars Reform the USSA!!!

From the flakes in Minnesota,
to the Ninth Circuit in Old Ca-li,
We would like to relinquish Texas,
From sea to shining sea.
From Detroit down to New Orleans,
and New York to L.A.
Well there is guilt in every bleeding liberal heart,
and its time we victicrats stand and say.

That I am ashamed to be an American,
Because on the left that's what's P.C..
And I'll express regrets and apologize,
to every foreign national that I see.
And I gladly stand up,
next to you and deplore her still today.
Because there is no doubt, Jeremiah's (W)right,
Czars Reform the USSA!!!

News: Keeping up with the Czars

With the UN grabbing so much attention this week, let's not forget the czars.  Here's what just a few are up to lately:

Arun Majumdar, Green Czar.  The newest czar, Arun is the new "Green Czar", this appears to be a separate Green energy/green science position, not a replacement for deposed "Green Jobs Czar" Van Jones, and apparent redundancy with Energy Czar Carol Browner (who herself is redundant to EPA chief and other cabinet positons) as well as redundant with Science Czar John Holdren. (See also, Czar Wars, Episode I, Scene 17: Van walks the plank of U.S.S. Czar).

Carol Browner, Energy/Climate Czar.  The Al Gore disciple and head of the EPA under Clinton is busy as discussed in this opinion piece...

Mark Lloyd, Diversity Czar.  Mark's speeches over the past two years are catching some well-deserved flack including pro-Chavez comments as reported by the Washington Times.

Cass Sunstein, Regulatory Czar.  Cass has been getting quite a bit of publicity and exposure.  Here's an article from Family Security Matters.

John Holdren, Science Czar.  Excerpt from article linked below: Holdren, director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP), co-authored the books "Human Ecology: Problems and Solutions" (1973) and "Ecoscience" (1977) with Paul R. Ehrlich and Anne H. Ehrlich, renowned population control advocates.
In the former, published by W.H. Freeman Company, Holdren and his coauthors said a born baby might "ultimately develop into a human being."
In Chapter 8 of the book, called "Population Limitation," the three argued for legalized abortion as a means of keeping the global population in check. In that context, they wrote: "The fetus, given the opportunity to develop properly before birth, and given the essential early socializing experiences and sufficient nourishing food during the crucial early years after birth, will ultimately develop into a human being."

Kenneth Feinberg, Pay Czar.  Excerpt from article linked below:  New York, Fri Sept 18:
Feinberg said he would release the salary information on the top 25 employees at Citigroup Inc (C..N), Bank of America Corp (BAC.N), AIG (AIG.N), General Motors [GM.UL], GMAC, Chrysler and Chrysler Financial, Seiberg wrote.

The pay czar said he would release the pay system for employees 26 though 100 by year-end, according to the analyst.

Feinberg was appointed in June and given broad authority to decide pay packages for the most highly compensated employees at firms that received extraordinary government bailouts.

SEIU, the Emperor's preferred storm troopers, have some very negative exposure that isn't getting MSM visibility, can be found only on the online version of the Sacremento newspaper, apparently not newsworthy enough for print or any national coverage.

MSM credit-where-credit is due department.  ABC has some web coverage of an inappropriate, perhaps unethical, on the brink of violating the Hatch Act by the now-reassigned communications director of the NEA (National Endowment for the Arts, not to be confused with the National Education Association teacher's union NEA).  The conference call became a political activist rally calling on artists to create Obama-agenda propaganda art.  Hopefully it will cease and desist from becoming the National Endowment for Obama's Agenda.

UNEP puts on pretty face, adds eye candy goodwill ambassador

Its Green Week, as the "Seal The Deal" propaganda kicks into high gear in New York City and Pittsburgh this week for UN and G20 meetings, respectively.  The all-out effort to create a false sense of urgency about trying to control the "global temparature" within a 2 degree range over the next 40 years somehow translates into the need to spend trillions and dramatically reduce production - and we can't delay another minute.  Makes sense, right?

White House plays down climate finance role at G20

Fri Sep 18, 2009 6:01pm EDT

WASHINGTON, Sept 18 (Reuters) - The contentious issue of industrial nations providing financial support for developing countries dealing with climate change was not expected to be a major focus of next week's G20 meeting, a top White House adviser said on Friday.
Michael Froman, a deputy national security adviser to President Barack Obama, said, however, leaders were expected to discuss the issue at the summit.

However, Australian coverage refers to the bail out as a potential "deal-breaker"

Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has flown out of Canberra for the start of his week-long trip to the United States.

Mr Rudd will attend the UN General Assembly meeting in New York and the G20 conference in Pittsburgh.
In his meetings, Mr Rudd will discuss climate change and the global financial crisis with world leaders.
Climate change groups are looking for progress on financing arrangements to assist developing nations to make the changes necessary to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Described as "a deal breaker" it will require nations to come up with funds to ensure the global effort to fight climate change works.
They are also hoping any G20 agreement on measures to aid economic recovery will include "green recovery" initiatives aimed at locking in commitments on renewable energy use and reduced deforestation.
US President Barack Obama will host the G20 meeting, the third since the global financial crisis tipped much of the world a year ago into the worst economic collapse in 75 years.
Leaders will consider the impact of the emergency measures introduced at the London G20 meeting in April which included trillions of dollars of coordinated economic stimulus packages.

News: Climate Change "Trojan" Horse for Third World Sterilization

UNEP gives a peak into the real agenda behind the Climate Change Farce.  All references on Climate Change levels and World Population levels refer to 2050.   The GREEN ELITE (Global Radical Enivonmental Extremist Network, Eliminating Live Inhabitants Threatening Earth) see humans as the vermin destoying mother earth and we must stop economic growth and development and reduce global population levels by 80% by 2050 (and in Copenhagen they want committments to reduce C02 emmissions by 80% by 2050).  They want to Seal The Deal as they say.

Birth control could help combat climate change

LONDON (AP) — Giving contraceptives to people in developing countries could help fight climate change by slowing population growth, experts said Friday.

More than 200 million women worldwide want contraceptives, but don't have access to them, according to an editorial published in the British medical journal, Lancet. That results in 76 million unintended pregnancies every year.
If those women had access to free condoms or other birth control methods, that could slow rates of population growth, possibly easing the pressure on the environment, the editors say.
"There is now an emerging debate and interest about the links between population dynamics, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and climate change," the commentary says.
In countries with access to condoms and other contraceptives, average family sizes tend to fall significantly within a generation. Until recently, many U.S.-funded health programs did not pay for or encourage condom use in poor countries, even to fight diseases such as AIDS.

The world's population is projected to jump to 9 billion by 2050, with more than 90% of that growth coming from developing countries.
It's not the first time lifestyle issues have been tied to the battle against global warming. Climate change experts have previously recommended that people cut their meat intake to slow global warming by reducing the numbers of animals using the world's resources.

The Lancet editorial cited a British report which says family planning is five times cheaper than usual technologies used to fight climate change. According to the report, each $7 spent on basic family planning would slash global carbon dioxide emissions by more than 1 ton.
Experts believe that while normal population growth is unlikely to significantly increase global warming that overpopulation in developing countries could lead to increased demand for food and shelter, which could jeopardize the environment as it struggles with global warming.

News: International Media openly collude to present "a global consensus on climate change"

Here is the link to the declaration of presenting one side of the issue, a Declaration of Lack of Independence, if you will for the world broadcast media, to agree to stay on message with the United Nations propaganda as agreed-upon at first ever United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) Broadcast Media and Climate Change conference in Paris (France) on 4-5 September, 2009.

Text of the UN's press release below:
Broadcasters Unite in Fight Against Climate Change
Paris (France), 7 September 2009 - Broadcasters from around the world have joined forces to combat climate change, acknowledging their essential role as opinion influencers and urging the industry to set quantifiable targets for a reduced carbon footprint.

Participants representing around 1000 broadcasters agreed upon the "The Paris Declaration on Broadcast Media and Climate Change," which will strengthen regional and international collaboration, and encourage production and dissemination of audiovisual content to give a voice to marginalized populations affected by climate change.

Delegates at the first ever UNESCO Broadcast Media and Climate Change conference in Paris (France) on 4-5 September came together to consider a global consensus on climate change, and to facilitate the use of materials between developing and developed country broadcasters.

"This is a watershed moment for the broadcasting industry," said Satinder Bindra, United Nation Environment Programme Director of Communications, who participated in the conference.

"The more allies, talent and creativity that we can garner in the fight against climate change and its dire consequences, the greater the chance of succeeding in tackling the greatest challenge of our generation," he added.

The declaration detailed that an increased public understanding of the urgency of climate change is essential to reduce its negative impacts and to avert human suffering. It also underlined that access to relevant information on climate change is vital for human survival, and that there are significant social, economic and environmental benefits in taking action to combat the effects of climate change.

The conference brought together national broadcasters from developing and developed countries with representatives of international broadcasting associations, regional broadcasting unions, scientific organizations and climate-related agencies to discuss the role of the broadcaster in relation to climate change.

News: Czars featured in a new book

A PAC has released a new book about 35 of the czars. My own interest in the czars began when I found multiple mentions of the czars in the media but few even attempted to identify them. This book is probably an interesting read but will be outdated in keeping up with the czars with each passing day (which they must realize as they're also offering free email updates on the czars for six months with book purchase/donation).

Nice cover though, I like those Sith/Jedi/Druid style robes on and The Emperor sporting the shades.
